The Verbal Behavior Institute supports families, educators and health professionals as they help children and teenagers with autism negotiate a world that is often indifferent to their needs.

We are advocates for, and practitioners of, the Verbal Behavior method of Applied Behavior Analysis, a scientific method of teaching children in the autism spectrum how to communicate.

We offer training and workshops for parents, teachers, therapists and others throughout New Jersey, New York City and the Hudson Valley area. Many of our courses are free.

We are also passionate about defending the rights of families to secure appropriate treatment. We know your struggle. We, too, have loved ones affected by autism. Through our extensive network of professionals, we can help you with the legal, educational and therapeutic issues that befall families with special-needs children.
